A weekend of training – Looking at Somatic Psychology – the body psychology – of our birth process. Looking at a framework, a map, that describes the different stages of birth (Stanislav Grof’s Basic Perinatal Matrix). How the experience of being born, and the stages of being in the womb, contained, then constrained, then pushing, can leave very deeply felt and long lasting imprints. These imprints can then affect our journey in life, our place in the world, and how we deal with challenges and relationships. Reflecting on how in my work with young children, there is the opportunity for them to re-route, and re-solve this experience, and so change their life journey ahead.
